"Eve's latest album, Here I Am will be in stores soon. It features production from Dr. Dre, Kanye West and Swizz Beatz, as well as guest spots from Sean Paul, T.I. and Robin Thicke. In fact, getting Robin on the album made for an interesting story. Eve spoke about how the collaboration came about and the track Robin is on. "The Robin Thicke song is actually produced by Rich Skillz, who's a friend of both of ours, and when he played the track for me I was like, 'I need a man on this track' and he was like, 'Yo, what about Robin,' and I was like 'Why not!' I've always thought Robin was hot. The track is sexy. It's called 'Fantasy' and my lyrics are basically talking about ladies, how when a guy sees you in the club, and they try to talk to you and he's basically like, you're his fantasy. It's a sexy song."Eve's latest album, Here I Am,will hit stores on September 18th." [source]

The release was originally pushed back from June 26th to September 4th because 50 wanted the record to drop around the world simulataneously. But the album now is slated for a September 11th release, and Interscope isn't saying why.
"Curtis" features production from Dr. Dre, Eminem and Timbaland, plus guest appearances by Eminem, Akon, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls. [source]

"I would love to be able to relate some of the jokes that the black comic Mo’nique delivered on the stage of Radio City in New York last month – but I can’t. Not simply because of the “cussin”, but also because she proudly employs the “n” word. Mo’nique, though, is among friends: an almost solidly black audience, fans of Chaka Khan and the neo-soul diva Jill Scott. So when she introduces the first act as “one baaad white boy”, that’s a special welcome.
And Robin Thicke may be the only white R&B star who could get that kind of welcome. Last year he became the first white male artist since George Michael to get to the top of the Billboard R&B/hip-hop chart, with his single Lost Without You. And his last album, The Evolution of Robin Thicke, is a slick, sophisticated and infectious disc that has remained buoyant among the Top 10 albums of that same genre. He has worked with Pharell, he is working with 50 Cent on his new album, and he scored a popular hit with Shooter, a track featuring the hard-boiled New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. In America, Thicke (the “e” is silent) has already furnished a reputation, but with the UK release of Evolution and the single Lost Without Uhe is surely going to do the same here." [read more]
