    12.28.2008 | Thicke-Ness 3 Year Annivesary!
Today marks the 3 year anniversary of Thicke-Ness! I started this site 3 years ago because there literally was nothing on the internet about Robin and his music, so i figured I'd try to fill the void for awhile, and things sort of snowballed from there. I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the visitors of this site because everyone has been so supportive from day one (I've come to expect nothing less from Robin fans).

And of course, a special thanks to my pal Cassie who came aboard and made this site 10x better than it was!! Here's what the site originally looked like...

Thank you everyone! We aren't going anywhere!

12.08.2008 | Diet Coke Launches Fashion Series
"Diet Coke is embracing its inner fashionista with a web endeavor that launches tomorrow. Entitled "Style Series," the not-yet-released webisodes will feature interviews with trendsetters such as Rihanna, designer Cynthia Rowley, and artist Robin Thicke. Certainly, Coca-Cola is looking to tap into the success of fashion-focused reality programs from Project Runway and Model.Live to Stylista and The Zoe Project. But the driving concept of this series is significantly different.

According to Market Watch, the show will be hosted by Glamour magazine’s West Coast editor Rachel Zalis and will focus on the creative process of both designer and muse. While the quality of the content remains to be seen, the idea of garnering a “sneak peek” at Rihanna’s collaboration with Gucci’s Frida Giannini is something few fashion-lovers would miss. I also have a feeling it’s one of which a certain Britney Spears-loving, Diet Coke-consuming fashion designer would definitely approve. " [source]

    12.08.2008 | Couples Watch: Robin & Paula
"Robin Thicke, throwing a birthday party for his wife Paula Patton on the patio of West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. Joined by his father, Alan Thicke, the R&B singer hung out on the sofas inside the restaurant before moving to a large outside table. The two clearly had a strong father-son bond, but the focus of this family affair was definitely Paula, who looked stunning in a short, scoop-neck black dress with capped sleeves. Her hubby played gracious host all night, chatting with guests like Private Practice's Taye Diggs – and he serenaded her, creating an intimate moment filled with love. When he finished, the table erupted in cheers and everyone toasted with champagne." [source]

12.08.2008 | Robin Thicke's Talent Is "Something Else"

"(CBS) Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Robin Thicke may look and sound a lot like his dad, Alan Thicke of "Growing Pains," but he is in a class of his own when it comes to music.

"He (Alan Thicke) thinks he can (sing)," Robin Thicke joked. "He is actually a talented songwriter and musician. My mom is a singer and my grandmother was a pianist and my grandfather was a jazz trumpet player, so there's lots of music in the family."

Thicke made a huge splash in 2006 with his R&B breakthrough album "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" and now he is getting rave reviews for his latest CD, "Something Else."

He stopped by to chat with Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez and perform his hit song, "The Sweetest Love."

"What is the sweetest love in your life?" Rodriguez asked.

"That would be my lovely wife Paula. I wrote that song about her after I got home from Paris, the capital of romance," he said.

Paula Patton is an actress, who recently starred in "Swing Vote" as a journalist.

"The Sweetest Love" wasn't the only song in which Thicke thought of his wife. [read more]
